  1. Covishield 

Covishield is co-produced by Oxford University and AstraZeneca and is being produced in India by Pune's Serum Institute of India. It is a one-of-a-kind deal in which  half the price per vaccine goes to Oxford. Covishield is one of the most popular vaccines in the world as many countries are using it. Covishield is the most effective and effective against mutant strains (ie, mutated viruses).  Covishield is a viral vector type vaccine.

 Covishield is made through a single virus that is derived from ChAD0x1, an adenovirus (a virus found in chimpanzee faeces) found in chimpanzees.

 It is the same virus that causes * cold * in chimpanzee, but the genetic structure of this virus combines with the virus of COVID, so using the adeno-virus induces the vaccine immunity system to make antibodies in the body.  Covishield is also approved by WHO.  Its effectiveness or effectiveness rate is 70 percent. This vaccine protects against severe symptoms of corona and the infected person recovers quickly. It also prevents the person from going on ventilator.  It is very easy to maintain as it can be carried anywhere from about 2 ° to 8 ° C, so the remaining vaccine vials can be stored in the refrigerator after its use.

2. Covaxin

 Covaxin is co-produced by ICMR and Bharat Biotech.  It has been built on the oldest of vaccine making ie traditional inactivated platform. Inactivated means that the dead virus is injected into the body, which produces antibodies and then the same antibody kills the virus.  This vaccine is not able to infect people because making a vaccine is of very fine balance so that the virus is not activated in the body.  This infected virus prepares the body's immune system to recognize the real virus and fights it when an infection occurs and tries to eradicate it.

 This vaccine threatens the corona virus, not humans.

 Covaxin has an effective 78%. A research has also reported that this vaccine can reduce the risk of fatal infection and mortality by 100 percent.  Recent research has claimed that covaxin is effective against all variants of the Corona.

Note- In all these vaccines, only covaxin is the only vaccine that has been created by the oldest method of making vaccines, it has used the Corona virus itself (activation virus ie dead-form) and this is a big reason that covaxin  Makes it effective against the 671 variants of corona (according to recent research) meaning that no matter how many mutations the corona virus does (ie change the form) covaxin will be effective on all of them.

3. Sputnik-V (Sputnik V) 

 It has been developed by the Gamalaya Research Institute of Moscow, which will be built by Dr. Reddy's Lab in India.  It can also be stored at 2-8 ° C. Sputnik V is also a viral vector vaccine, but one major difference between it and the rest of the vaccine is that the rest of the vaccine is made from one virus, whereas it has two  There are viruses and both their doses are different.  Sputnik V has been considered the most effective vaccine not only in India but everywhere.  India's most effective vaccine on this scale.  Sputnik V is 91.6% effective.  In this case, it can be called the most effective vaccine.  It is based on 2 different types of viruses ie Adenovirus-26 (Ad26) and Adenovirus-5 (Ad5) causing colds, colds and other respiratory diseases.  It mimics the prickly proteins found in the corona virus (Spike protein - the same protein that helps in entry into the cells of the body, ie. cells), which attacks the body first.  Immune system is activated as soon as the vaccine reaches the body.  And antibodies are produced in the body.  These antibodies protect the body from the corona virus.

Now let's talk about Sputnik's single dose vaccine ie sputnik Light

Since both doses of the Sputnik vaccine use two different viruses, the Sputnik Lite vaccine is actually the first dose of the Sputnik-V vaccine.  Keep in mind that two different vaccines are given in Sputnik-V after a gap of three weeks.  Now the manufacturer has claimed that the first dose of Sputnik-V is also effective in protecting against corona infection and it is launched as Sputnik-Lite, which has an efficacy of 79.4% which is higher than the two doses of other vaccines.  If it is approved in India, then more vaccination can be done in one dose, which can also speed up immunization.

Apart from these three, there are 2 more vaccines in the world which have been given emergency approval but are not currently valid in India, which are of Modarna and Pfizer vaccines 

While Modarna has to store at -20 °, on the other hand Pfizer's vaccine has to be protected from  -70 ° C to -75 ° C. which is why India is lagging behind in approving these vaccines.  It is difficult to develop such a system in which to maintain this temperature in India. Apart from this, one thing is different from the conventional technique that has been used in making this vaccine.

Living or dead virus is injected into the bloodstream of our body through conventional vaccine.  It also contains many substances, which are necessary for the production of a resistant process.  But COVID-19's new vaccine uses messenger RNA (mRNA), a type of nucleic acid. This messenger RNA signals a genetic mechanism, which produces covid antibodies, which destroys virus signals.  This means that the virus is not injected directly into the body in this process.

Special Note- Comparative studies are for your information only because so far only three vaccines approved in India (Covishield, Covaxin and Sputnik) prevent COVID-19 from getting serious and going on ventilator and whatever vaccine is available, get it installed immediately.
